The Yellow Project
AGAINST SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND GENDER-BASED DISCRIMINATION IN SCIENCE.
THE MISSION
Informing and raising awareness. Giving a voice to those affected.
Ending gender-based discrimination and sexual harassment in science.
Gender-based discrimination and sexual harassment are still widespread in science and are often facilitated by institutional structures at universities. The Yellow Project is committed to sustainably eliminating these issues. Our focus lies in prevention work with the goal of raising awareness. We want to help scientists recognize and address these problems. At the same time, we inform affected individuals and give them the opportunity to share their stories.

THE reason
Why we need to act now
Although gender-based discrimination and sexual harassment are widespread in science, those affected often receive neither adequate protection nor appropriate support. However, a safe workplace is a fundamental prerequisite for a successful scientific career. Our organization is committed to finding solutions for a safer and fairer scientific environment.
