The Yellow Project

AGAINST SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND DISCRIMINATION
IN SCIENCE.

THE MISSION

Informing and raising awareness. Giving a voice to those affected.
Ending sex discrimination and sexual harassment in science.

Sexual harassment, discrimination, and violence are still widespread in science and are often facilitated by institutional structures at universities. The Yellow Project is committed to sustainably eliminating these issues. Our focus lies in prevention work with the goal of raising awareness of sex discrimination and sexual harassment in science. We want to help scientists recognize and address these problems. At the same time, we inform affected individuals and give them the opportunity to share their stories and thus help others.

THE reason

Why we need to act now

Although sex discrimination and sexual harassment are widespread in science, those affected often receive neither adequate protection nor appropriate support. However, a safe and discrimination-free workplace is a fundamental prerequisite for a successful scientific career. Our organization is committed to finding solutions for a safer and fairer scientific environment.
